Project Details
The Centre for Women and Trans People (CWTP) is a drop-in community space that centers and is led by Black and Indigenous Women, Trans and 2 Spirit people at the University of Toronto. We initially worked with them to create a one-page WordPress website that aligned with their newly created visual identity.
In 2025, the Centre reached back out to NOYA to make some updates to their website. With their change in programming, NOYA utilized Custom Post Types and Advanced Custom Fields to create a searchable and filterable resource library; a simple and clean events directory; as well as a programs listing page. Each custom post type had it’s own unique layout – created with the Divi Theme Builder – and used Custom Fields to provide information such as phone numbers, dates, websites and more to each unique post type.
We also expanded the one page website to becoming multiple pages. Each section that was a part of the one-page website now became it’s own page, and we used the Divi FilterGrid plugin to showcase each of these custom post types in their own unique way.
